It is a recommendation from the planning committee that NENa move a motion, in the October meeting, to authorize the NENa planning committee to talk to the city planning department to request a interim control by law.
The Interim Control By-Law will pause construction on James St. N until the master plan can be amended to include the James St. Mobility Hub study and adjust Setting Sail. With the master plan amended, the proposal put forward by developers in the future for properties in the North End will have to abide by the amended Master Plan.
