Vision ZeroThe Public Health Agency of Canada explains the primary goal of the Vision Zero movement is to reduce motor vehicle fatalities to ZERO by 2020. A number of European countries are considering implementation of Vision ZERO. It involves shared responsibilities among all those involved in the road system (politicians, planners, police, etc) as well as all road users – pedestrians, cyclists, buses, cars etc.
All neighbourhood associations and Councillor Farr support Vision ZERO. Window signs will be available at the March 2 Community Meeting.
